Fiber Optic Jobs description

A fiber optics professional is responsible for handling various technical issues in the manufacturing of fiber optics. Duties include ensuring that the fiber optics connections are made in a secure manner, ensuring that fiber optics cable installations are made in a cost-effective and safe manner, handling customers requests, travelling to customers\' offices and homes in order to get their installation specifications, and understanding customer requirement and designing a fiber optics network accordingly. Some of the well-known positions in this area are those of a fiber optic technician, design associate-commercial fiber optic, fiber optic cable technician, product engineer - fiber optics, fiber optic installation technician, fiber optics cable installer, product engineer - fiber optics, fiber optic cable technician, design associate - commercial fiber optics etc.

A fiber optics professional should have a bachelor\'s degree in electronics engineering or a relevant field. Excellent academic credentials are required. Prior experience in this field may be advantageous.
