Profile

Retail Store Technology Engineer will provide logistics, and operational support for infrastructure tech within our brick-and-mortar stores.

This position will coordinate and manage how we operate technology systems in retail locations in the U.S. This is a highly collaborative role that works closely with store IT support functions, Retail Operations, as well as external partners, and other stakeholders.

 

OTHER FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

*Help troubleshoot advanced issues and identify root causes and long-term solutions *Collaborate and partner with key internal and external stakeholders *Act as second level support for support tickets that L1 Help Desk is unable to resolve *Escalate tickets to vendor support and act to coordinate repair/replacement as appropriate *Manager the coordination of installations, equipment deliveries, and third party technical labor scheduling *Create and maintain  technical documentation used across teams and vendors *Serve as the point of contact for all infrastructure related questions for on-site Technicians, Help Desk and other third party support entities *Manage and understand equipment inventories located internally as well as with third parties *Create new processes to improve the quality of operational procedures, improving effectiveness and efficiency *Manage operational logistics for repair and or replacement of store technology such as iphones, ipads etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*3-5 years of retail IT support experience within a fast-paced organization with 2 years of experience working as a technology engineer *Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks, especially when balancing multiple projects *excellent communication skills (both in writing and in person) who can speak to both technical and non-technical team members with clarity and efficiency *A positive, unflappable spirit who leads by example *Naturally curious—you dive deep into all available information in pursuit of both technical and business details
