Job Summary

The Site Reliability Engineering organization has multiple openings for experienced Technical Project Managers to join our team! The Technical PM is responsible for working with Agile teams to help them deliver value to our internal Comcast customers. This individual will collaborate with teams to support enhancing the Innovation Operations Platform that is being rolled out across Comcast as a central ticket management platform. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for facilitating the successful, on-time, high-quality delivery of various product development activities by providing process management, coaching, and measurement of progress for one or more Scrum teams. You will work closely with these teams and with other Scrummasters in the organization to define and implement principles and practices of multiple agile frameworks, primarily scrum and SAFe.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Responsible for the planning and facilitation of standard meetings to include: backlog preparation, iteration planning, retrospectives, iteration reviews, and daily stand-ups.

Engage with various business units to resolve obstacles to deliver on stated goals and helps to negotiate working agreements.

Engage and assist the product owner to ensure that work requests are accurately articulated, prioritized, and detailed.

Work to identify blocked or stalled user-stories and assists the team in learning to resolve the issues or assist in acquiring a resolution.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

3-5 years of managing teams operating in the SAFe / Agile methodologies

Agile/scrum certification is a plus

ServiceNow knowledge is a plus

Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to help to address team impediments.

While a technical degree is not required, you must have strong technical proficiency, a passion for technology and innovation, and the ability to communicate with technical teams.
