Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES: Contribute to the team responsible for developing infrastructure and tools used to automate software deployments and ensure delivery of software; develop applications using Go, Python, Java, and related modern programming languages; integrate new applications and software architecture using Amazon Web Services (AWS); maintain and improve the software delivery platform in support of production environments; integrate secure software development practices, including security scans, peer review, and software rollbacks; automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform; integrate software with Concourse tools, including GitHub, IOP, and security scanning tools; integrate observability using Splunk or Elastic; Terraform, test and deploy code using Ansible, and Packer; troubleshoot and resolve production issues; and respond to user queries. Experience leading projects and more junior software engineers. Position is eligible for 100% remote work and requires less than 5% domestic travel.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related technical field, and five (5) years of experience developing applications using Go, Python or Java; integrating applications using AWS; maintaining software delivery platforms in support of production environments; of which one (1) year must include automating infrastructure deployments using Terraform; and integrating observability using Splunk or Elastic.
