The Manager, Problem is the Process Owner of Problem Investigations and CAPA action planning for Information Technology. The incumbent will also manage 3 to 4 employees and contractors as well as manage the most critical problems within IT.
Accountable for the end to end Problem Management process including people, process and technology.
Leads to identify and implement process improvements.
Manages problem managers including setting objectives, assigning investigations, and setting development goals and coaching.
Accountable for the Investigation / CAPA service enabled by IT for other business groups leveraging the service.
Monitors investigations, action plans across IT, including those managed by Service Providers within Problem.
Manages the most critical investigations within Information Technology
Provides deep expertise to investigation teams of quality management framework, controls, policies and procedures
Ability to translate investigations and CAPA plans to cross-divisional stakeholders at various levels
Ensures technology releases maintain process continuity
Required:
Bachelor in Information Technology, Engineering, or Science. Masters preferred.
7 years’ experience to include IT Service Management (especially Problem Management), IT Quality, and / or Deviation Management
Experience leveraging ServiceNow
Experience managing and developing employees
ITIL Foundations, Expert Preferred

Demonstrated ability to manage staff including workload and career development.
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize effectively across multiple projects and tasks.
Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and communicate directly at various organizational levels.
Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to write superior documentation and deliver clear and articulate presentations.
Prefer Pharma and/or biotech experience in a Quality Assurance or Investigator role managing IT Investigations with a GxP impact.
Demonstrated ability to ask probing questions, identify risk and assess situations quickly.
Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
Demonstrated strong analytical skills, process knowledge and lateral thinking.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize issues utilizing a risk based approach
Other qualifications:
US military experience will be considered towards industry experience requirements
