As a Lead Software Engineer at Humana, you will code software applications and solve complex technical problems both on prem and using Cloud technologies to deliver on IT business initiatives focused on Intelligent Search and Knowledge Management for both the Digital and Service Segments. You will directly work with Application Architects and other software developers to solve complex business problems and determine solution requirements by applying advanced technical knowledge. You will use independent judgement requiring analysis of variable factors and determine the best course of action as you ensure quality and set the standards and pace for the rest of the development team. Debugging, working with our DevOps teams, researching issues and continuously pushing the envelope for the advancement of coding standards and technology will be part of the daily job.

You will report to the Manager, Software Engineering for the Digital Channels and Contact Centers area that focuses on Intelligent Search and Knowledge Management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

8 or more years of progressive IT experience as a senior developer in large IT projects

2 or more years of project leadership experience

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Experience with Coveo Intelligent Search
