, to join the Email Platform BU. You will be a part of a team of hardworking engineers who build end-to-end data processing and persistence solutions that deliver high performance services at a very large scale.

Who?

Building a platform requires people from a variety of engineering backgrounds. Twilio is looking for Software Engineer who lives

the Twilio Magic

and has

6 years of software development experience

Strong experience in various technologies such as: distributed storage, stream analytics, lambda architecture, Relational, KV, Document Store.

Preferred experience working with Snowflake data warehousing

Experience working with very large sets of structured, unstructured, time series data sets, and in the areas of data stores and analytics systems.

Experience developing and delivering software using Containers/Kubernetes

Experience building and operating distributed systems at high scale

Track record of delivering systems with operational excellence; dependable, reliable, highly available

Experience with Linux & Docker required

Understanding of AWS or other public cloud providers

Demonstrated progression of expertise in your field

A tenacity for learning - curious, and constantly pushing the boundary of what is possible

Highly effective collaboration skills - you work with your team towards common goals

A healthy ability to manage and resolve conflict - you have the ability to listen, present, and question efficiently.

Self drive - you take complete ownership of your tasks and champion efforts to get your tasks to completion

Experience with networking and security engineering

Familiarity with software development in an Agile environment
