About the job
This position is needed to design, develop, and own quality initiatives across the entire Marketing Campaigns product.
As a Staff Quality Engineer, you’ll work closely with a passionate group of people, in your team and across the organization, that strives to deliver a reliable, trustworthy, and amazing experience to our customers every day. You’ll be responsible for collaborating with developers to come up with and implement testing strategies to ensure we keep our quality bar high while allowing us to move faster, more securely, and deliver the value our customers expect.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Be the quality advocate who drives our risk-based testing strategy
Continuously contribute to the quality of our releases by injecting quality concepts in every phase of the sprint lifecycle, from planning to deployment
Collaborate with members of your team to understand planned implementations and improve quality practices
Develop test strategy for each of the services your team owns
Write detailed and high-quality test cases around story implementation

Required:
4-6 years of experience testing microservices
Experience in implementing CI/CD workflows
Ability to drive risk-based testing and release execution
Expert in Quality Assurance testing techniques
Desired:
Knowledge of secure coding/software development security best practices
Software development experience
Location
This role will be based in our
Denver
office or remote.

The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is
$211,313 $151,008
Non-Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
