Job Summary:
Collaborate with client representatives to transform functional concepts into system solutions.
Participate in reviewing and establishing client’s conceptual and detail requirements for assessing the scope of work, input information / assumptions, deliverables and timelines for Early Engineering work (typically through the generation of CTR’s).
Lead FEED-type studies that require technical analysis and recommendations on overall SPS/SURF designs for proposals including feasibility of design or application and viable alternatives that benefit the Company while satisfying client needs.
Translate the technical requirements of the specifications, design sessions and systems engineering reviews into technical reports and drawings appropriate to the equipment package. When required this may involve managing and coordinating multiple product groups located across the world.
Present development concepts, proposals and suggestions to customers and internal management during the early engagement and FEED Study phases of work.
Evaluate existing field installations and discuss possible “Brownfield” opportunities with clients.
Identify and develop “value engineering” or “cost optimizations” opportunities in conjunction with customers.
Provide input into Subsea System design including field layouts, drill center layouts, field architecture and general flow assurance based on client’s objectives.
Attend internal and external meetings and be asked to be the company interface to the customers.
Conduct/participate in peer and design reviews for solutions defined as part of FEED studies/EEE.
Perform GAP analysis on client’s specifications against industry and OneSubsea standards.
Participate and/or oversee system activities such as RAM, HAZID, HAZOP’s and FMECA analysis, flow assurance, hydraulic analysis, riser analysis and soil analysis.
Participate and/or lead internal or external design reviews.
Participate in safety reviews/meetings.
Generate/review or assist in the development of typical system documentation including: Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Drawings, Master Equipment Lists, Interface registers, ROV Access Studies, Design Basis’, Functional Design Specifications, Testing Philosophies, Mater Document Registers, etc.
Conducts IDC reviews of documentation from other packages and ensure alignment with the overall system performance.
Work closely with our Sales Team to visit various clients and provide technical support during meetings.
Provide technical guidance and support to the Tendering organization as and when required.
Promote EEE services to customers.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Experienced engineer with a minimum of 15 years of industry experience and 10 years in the SPS environment, with an emphasis on manifolds, connection systems, tree systems, control system or flying leads and umbilicals.
Bachelor's Degree, Master’s Degree or PhD in Engineering (or equivalent)
15 years of related experience.
Experience in Controls, Communications, and Power Distribution would be extremely beneficial.
Proficient in all aspects of an engineering discipline and knowledgeable with other engineering principles.
Experience working with Engineering Consulting companies and/or Major oil companies.
Familiarity with future market and industry trends and understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist.
Highly organized, forward thinking and technically proficient; should be capable and comfortable influencing engineering functions within the group and organization.
Exceptional communicational and interpersonal skills with the ability to speak and write in English at a high technical level being the minimum requirements.
Outstanding presentation skills to allow complex technical issues to be communicated to audiences with wide ranging levels of technical awareness.
Flexibility and willingness to work on several projects simultaneously.
Knowledge and awareness of BSEE, API, Norsok, ISO, SIIS, MDIS, SEAFOM, etc
Ability to travel – both domestically and internationally (minimal).
Must be driven by own and team performance, and willing to go ‘the extra mile’.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
