Our team of content designers and web developers that supports CMS solutions including the Atlassian product stack here in-house is looking for a dedicated and versatile solutions engineer and community advocate to help shape and ship experiences that create new value for all Cirrus employees. In this role you will work independently and as a part of multi-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and DevOps, to provide creative solutions for our users. In addition to user support, you’ll help with growing user awareness of our internal CMS tools with a core focus on Confluence and Jira development and user engagement. To do so you’ll need to maintain a deep understanding of product updates and new offerings, and be able to articulate those improvements to our users. The effort you make in this area will go a long way to make a difference across our offices globally. Responsibilities

Design, write, edit, test and improve digital content that makes our products easier to use

Demonstrate sound judgment and influence product decisions, project direction and strategy

Endorse new and improved CMS product offerings as a community advocate

Provide technical and/or analytical support in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems for OOB and custom CMS functionalities and integrations

Identify and provide timely workarounds and solutions to meet user needs

Work with engineering and product management to prioritize improvements as user advocate

Constantly stay ahead in communicating with users, manage expectations properly to avoid escalations, and be a strong voice of end-users during engineering planning

Function as product designer on custom development projects and assist through release cycles in testing new features, enhancements and bug fixes

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must have excellent technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills

Adept at simplifying and communicating complex ideas to end users

Familiar with content tooling and/or front-end programming

Proven systems thinking, with an aptitude for learning technical systems

Experience in design thinking, UX writing, user research, and designing content for web or mobile

Demonstrated experience leading projects with minimal direction and handling a large degree of ambiguity

Excellent time management skills and a goal-oriented personality

Ability to learn new skills and systems quickly

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related major

This position is located in Austin, Texas.

This is a hybrid position and will follow a 2 day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
