Our GPS Cyber Risk team is client focused and mission driven. Our team works across industries and sectors to respond more rapidly and effectively, providing recommendations to improve cyber threat detection.
The GPS Internet of Things (IoT) Solutions Architect will facilitate the development and documentation for the monitoring capabilities for IoT and cyber-physical systems. Work with the Project Manager (PM) and IoT pillar tech leads (monitor, detect, and test) to ensure unified development. The Support Manager will ensure high quality deliverables, report on the status of these parallel task development to stakeholders, monitoring and controlling project progress and management of assigned team members.
Work you’ll do
As a backend developer you will:
Work with development and implementation of backend infrastructures. Preferred languages include: Python, C#, Node, PHP Java
Get involved with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Developed under Agile methodology
Work with relational databases (SQL) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB)
Get involved with development and implementation of frontend interfaces not required, but preferred. Preferred languages include: JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field or related experience.
2 years plus experience with development and implementation of backend infrastructures. Preferred languages include: Python, C#, Node, PHP Java
2 years plus experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
1 year plus experience with relational databases (SQL) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB)
2 years plus experience with development and implementation of frontend interfaces not required, but preferred. Preferred languages include: JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS
Understanding of non-enterprise IT networks and architectures
Familiar with software Cloud integration
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools
Foundational understanding of cyber security, cyber engineering, and cyber defense
Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
Previous Federal Consulting experience
Understanding of fundamental cloud computing concepts
Experience with Information Assurance concepts and processes within the Federal government
Knowledge of and experience with Federal security regulations, standards, and processes including FISMA, FIPS, NIST, and FedRAMP
