Description

The Senior Endpoint Protection Engineer leads and participates in the development of enterprise-level endpoint security strategies. The Senior Endpoint Protection Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Endpoint Protection Engineer ensures endpoint security by designing, installing, configuring and administering endpoint protection systems. Influences department's strategy, makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

5 years of technical infrastructure experience

Experience integrating new technologies with existing technologies.

Experience implementing technologies with enterprise-wide impact

Experience with numerous endpoint security technologies (antivirus, DLP, full disk encryption, data classification, etc).

Familiarity with cloud architecture and DevOps procedures.

Experience with multiple server, workstation, and cloud platforms and various virtualization technologies.

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field

Direct experience with the design, implementation and support of enterprise-class endpoint security technologies

Azure, AWS, GCP, or other cloud experience securing, designing and supporting large scale environments

Traditional and Cloud Security Experience

Linux Administration Experience

Additional Information

Experience with system administration with a concentration on security. Experience with the design, implementation and support of very large enterprise solutions at a national level highly desirable. Proven ability to articulate designs and ideas into coherent diagrams and documentation from high level design presentations to low level implementation plans.
