Description

Who we are:

The Experience Center (XC) is an interdisciplinary, human-centered healthcare innovation accelerator.

We are explorers, listeners, creators and thinkers working together to influence the ways that people care for themselves and one another. We co-create experiences from the very beginning to ensure that they are the most valuable to the people we serve. We use an adaptive process to incubate and accelerate healthcare learning and innovation. This well-tested method allows us to successfully advance a product at any stage.

Who you are:

You are a curious learner who wants to direct your own development. You are empathetic by nature. You're looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests across functions and where a job title is not considered the final definition of who you are, but the starting point.

You are passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

You demonstrate structured thinking and a comfort with ambiguity.

You have an interest in delivering business value through lean product development and human-centered design.

Responsibilities

The XC is a multi-disciplinary team. The internship offers a specialization in one of three tracks -- Engineering, Design and Product Management -- with opportunities to rotate in each discipline if desired.

As an XC summer intern, you will:

Pair one-on-one with expert teammates.

Complete project(s) specific to your specialization.

Contribute as a member of a balanced product team.

Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.

Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Ability to learn new software quickly.

Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the future.

Additional Information:

This role is part of the Experience Center in Humana's Digital Health & Analytics organization.

This role is 100% remote. You must be available to work 8am - 5pm ET.

In lieu of a cover letter, please submit a document along with your resume that provides the following information:

A clearly stated desired internship track (i.e. Engineering, Design or Product Management)

A short paragraph describing why Humana is a company of interest to you

What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
