Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Director of Engineering focused on DevSecOps to be an influencer across all of the engineering teams within the business unit. The person in this role will be responsible for the development of systems, tools and processes that improve the operability and security of our products which reaffirms our customer trust in Twilio each and every day. Reporting to the VP of Engineering in the Marketing & Growth Platform, this position is critical in supporting Twilio’s continued growth as we continue to build new applications and partnerships that expand into adjacent market spaces.

stay up-to-date on new security tools & techniques
, you conduct research to drive innovation and process maturity.
You have experience with software security, secure coding, or software assurance tools and techniques that you utilize to
guide cross BU teams influencing continuous improvement
to DevSecOps practices.
You have a strong understanding and background in engineering with a strong
knowledge of security certifications
like CISSP, CISM, CRSC, GSEC.
You
define the quarterly goals
that balance velocity quality, operability and security while implementing projects and influencing teams to achieve those goals.
Experience with tools and technologies used throughout secure SDLC
with Cloud Security (AWS, GCS, Azure) and SOC, SOX, ISO 27001-2, NIST 800-53, or other controls standards.

Where?
This position will be located in our Denver office. Around the world, Twilio oWe are looking for an experienced commercial contracts attorney to join our growing legal team in San Francisco. You will be responsible for managing a large volume of outbound contracts and work closely with Twilio’s Procurement Team as well as other key business units to guide contracts through review, negotiation and signing.
Travel required - up to 25% of the time post-COVID
