Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing/maintaining mold drawings for Tooling work orders and creation and revision of mold component bills of materials for mold and fixture design.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production and R&D to improve and standardize existing and future mold designs.
Work hands on when needed with mold assembly/disassembly, inspection/measuring, reverse engineering, making models/drawings, etc.
Troubleshoot complex tooling, equipment, and process problems and to develop manufacturing methods leading to improved safety, quality, and delivery at reduced costs.
Ensure timely completion of assigned drafting projects.
Perform various other duties and activities within the physical constraints of the job.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Associates degree, Technical Training in Engineering, or minimum of 1-2 years of drafting experience.
Strong background in 3D drafting (Inventor/AutoCAD) experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
MS Office experience.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
Post-secondary education is preferred, such as a 4-year degree in Engineering or Engineering related Technical Institution. Current enrollment in an engineering related secondary education program will also be acceptable. Background in 3D drafting(AutoCAD) (Inventor).
Rubber manufacturing engineering experience.
