ENSCO, Inc., is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to be part of a dynamic team, working on a cutting-edge program in support of national security objectives. Candidate will be a Lead Systems Integrator for the program and work directly with a team comprised of Software Engineers, Hardware Engineers and Data Analysts who will push the boundaries of innovation, redefine engineering capabilities, and drive advances in AI/ML. The Senior Systems Engineer will perform hands-on integration and testing of wearables sensor systems. The system is a hardware and software end-to-end iterative development to address the JPEO CWMD office CBRN Wearables objectives, comprised in part of the use of wearables technologies in order to detect physiological stressors at an individual level, and overall force readiness at a macro level. At the conclusion of the first development iteration, the system will be comprised of TRL 9 components (i.e. sensors, communications and network devices, computers and edge computing devices, cloud-based repositories and algorithms), which are integrated by the ENSCO-developed FAILSAFES software. The entire FAILSAFES Proof-of-Concept system will be delivered to internal as well as customer-sponsored field testing, with the system being demonstrated in a mission relevant environment. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND). The ideal candidate will be familiar with the JPEO CBRND overall missions, and specifically familiar with integration of wearable capabilities which can be integrated into a single system to meet mission objectives. The work is mission critical and involves solving real-world problems.
