An outstanding manufacturing engineer should be able to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, safety, cost-effectiveness, and quality.\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eManufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:\u003cbr/\u003e• Member of a small cross functional engineering team (mechanical/electrical/software) working to develop new products, improve existing products, and customize products to meet customer demands. Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.\u003cbr/\u003e• Problem solving efforts and coordination of corrective actions with other departments and implementing solutions. Managing design documentation release on assigned projects. Developing and updating detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.\u003cbr/\u003e• Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems.\u003cbr/\u003e• Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eQualifications:\u003cbr/\u003e• BS or MS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred. Will consider only very strong candidates with degrees in other engineering disciplines or with bachelor\u0027s degrees in non-engineering fields. 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred\u003cbr/\u003e• Demonstrated hands on mechanical design and troubleshooting ability. Specific experience in semiconductor equipment or similar high complexity, fully automated capital equipment is a plus. Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.\u003cbr/\u003e• Specific experience with high purity plumbing, valving, sensorization and fluid flow controls is a plus.\u003cbr/\u003e• Ability to work in a Class I semiconductor clean room\u003cbr/\u003e• Ability to occasionally travel, including internationally \u003cbr/\u003e• Experience using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, and related software.\u003cbr/\u003e• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.\u003cbr/\u003e• Strong organization and management skills.\u003cbr/\u003e• High level of technical expertise.\u003cbr/\u003e• Strong analytical thinker.\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003ePhysical Demands and Work Conditions\u003cbr/\u003eThe physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
