SUMMARY
Bering Global Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Logistics Engineer III in Norfolk, VA.
This position requires at least three years of experience in Navy logistics, AIS management, inventory management, and financial management and the functionality of military logistics AISs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Logistics Engineer will report to the Logistics Lead and is responsible for analysis of all material and material conditions for ships assigned. The Engineer maintains a database for feedback and analysis of systems and processes in support of availability planning and execution programs and processes. This may include ILS planning, Technical Manual and ILS provisioning and any other duties as assigned by the Logistics Lead. This includes Long Lead Time Material (LLTM) and Future Use Material (FUM).

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s)
8 Years’ Experience in the use of Navy and DoD databases and tools to include, ICAPS, JETDAS, CDMD-OA, TDMIS, NAVY ONE TOUCH
8 Years’ Experience Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) Military Standard Transaction Reporting & Accounting Procedure(s) (MILSTRAP) DOD supply system
8 years’ experience Maintenance Index Page (MIP), Maintenance Requirement Card (MRC) significant to supported U.S. Ships
8 years’ experience Maintenance and Material Management System (3M) Manual
8 years’ experience in direct logistics support to an Acquisition program office (PEO/PMW) or similar organization is required.
Bachelor’s Degree plus Understanding of military systems acquisition and product support planning, development, and implementation,
Associate’s degree in technical or business area with 4 or more years of Navy C4I experience or High School Diploma plus 8 or more years Navy C4I systems experience without a degree.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Certifications: Demonstrated Logistics Certificate (Preferred) , Certified Professional Logistician (Recommended)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
