Overview
ARMA-Global is currently pursuing qualified candidates in support of a USSOCOM Specialty Services contract. USSOCOM has a requirement to provide enterprise-wide information technology service and distribution to USSOCOM and all of its respective components and Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs) through a more modern, flexible, scalable, performance-based service management and delivery framework known as Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contracts (SITEC).

Network Engineer - Intermediate
Location
Ft. Bragg, NC
Responsibilities
Perform related planning; installation; configuration; operations and maintenance; documentation; network coordination and engineering activities related to network services. Provide coordination with the customer’s network engineers to ensure installed/LCR equipment has been documented within the network monitoring system, Network Configuration Manager (NCM) and Access Control System (ACS).
Perform off‐site surveys, installation, configuration, maintenance, documentation, hardware support, and testing at CONUS and OCONUS locations, as required.Plans and coordinates major information technology initiatives. Develops and executes contingency plans for network software and hardware failures including isolated and major outages. Provides internal consulting, technical guidance, information and support to application developers, computer operations, workstation support, company management and departmental clients. Assists in internal training programs. Meets regularly with other network team leads to plan and coordinate efforts, resolve cross-team issues and communicate changes.

ITIL v3 Foundation certification preferred
Has full technical knowledge of all phases of network operations
Inside Plant (ISP) installation standardsexperience
Cisco Call ManagerExperience (Move, Add, Change, Delete (MACD) actions)
Excellentcommunication skills; shows tact, effective listening skills and follow through
Willbe required to provide clear written documentation on networkdiagrams
Must be able to effectively interact with staff from other sections on complex client/server problems
Detail oriented and organized; able to understand network evaluation criteria and be exact in assessments
Must closely follow network protocols and methodology
Security Requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance

Work Environment
Work environment is administrative office
Short term travel is expected both CONUS and OCONUS
Education Requirements
BachelorsDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
8 years of directly related experience inenterprise levelnetwork analysis,administration, and engineering.
