ENSCO MSG is recruiting senior engineering and support staff supporting the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense - Intelligence & Security Branch (OUSD/I&S).  We are currently seeking a Data Analyst/Data Engineer who will interface with functional and technical experts. Successful candidates will support the modernization, alignment, and integration of Combatant Command (CCMD) intelligence capabilities using mission-driven analysis based on the development of sound, and validated architectures.  Duties will include but are not limited to:The Data Analyst/Data Engineer will integrate with cross-functional teams specializing in architecture development, solutions analysis, intelligence functional expertise, and Defense Acquisition processes informing the development and implementation of Information Technology (IT) business processes, programs, plans and guidance for Defense Intelligence warfighting support to the CCMDs and the integration with MPE.Analyze data frameworks and processes to develop system requirements for their modernizationProduce clear, logical, and concise DoD-level products to inform stakeholder decisions.Recommend optimal solutions for data storage and data transferApply data mapping, mining and transformation techniques to the analysis of existing and future data architecturesModeling, simulation and test of databases, data repositories and data transfer architecturesBachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, computer science, data analytics, or other scientific or technical discipline and 5 years relevant experienceExperience employing analytical methods or platforms to communicate predictions, findings, or risks through effective data visualizations, dashboards, and reportsExperience ingesting, mining, and processing data to provide analytical insightExperience or familiarity with AWS, Python, JIRA, Confluence, ETL pipelines, and general programming conceptsAbility to independently investigate and assess alternative technical solutions to capability gapsStrong written and oral presentation skillsAN ACTIVE DOD TS/SCI CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZENAdvanced Degree in an engineering, scientific or a technical discipline Hands-on experience with Elastic Search, Logstash, and KibanaExperience with Natural Language ProcessingFamiliarity with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning techniquesUnderstanding of coalition intelligence and data sharing programs, techniques and methodologiesExperience with multiple Intelligence Community organizations and data sharing security protocolsPrevious exposure to or experience with some or all the relevant capabilities, functions, missions, and processes of the CCMDs, or CCMD Joint Intelligence Operations Centers and coalition interoperability #LI-JM1 ENSCO has been delivering engineering, science, and advance technology solutions to complex priority programs since 1969.
