Job Summary
Comcast Corporation is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the cybersecurity field. The ideal candidate should have a good knowledge of all security domains, cloud computing, vulnerability management, and governance risk and compliance.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures that safeguard Comcast's critical assets and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Analyze security risks and develop security controls to mitigate them.
Execute vulnerability management programs to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across Comcast's enterprise, and develop remediation strategies.
Manage cloud security by identifying, assessing, and mitigating cloud computing risks, and ensuring compliance with cloud security policies and standards.
Collaborate with internal teams to conduct risk assessments, identify gaps, and develop remediation plans.
Monitor and analyze cybersecurity events to identify potential security incidents and take appropriate actions to prevent or mitigate them.
Develop and maintain security documentation, including security policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and technical controls.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards, including PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOX.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior cybersecurity staff.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on vulnerability management, cloud computing security, and governance risk and compliance.
Experience in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and technical controls.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO, and CIS.
Knowledge of cloud computing security, including AWS and Azure.
Experience with vulnerability management tools, such as Qualys, Nessus, and Rapid7.
Familiarity of regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOX.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC, are a plus.
