,AnswerValue:Data and Analytics Platform Engineer\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eTitle and Description\u003cbr/\u003eData and Analytics Platform Engineer will be part of a team that is in the process of modernizing the TEL US Data and Analytics eco-system, focused on automation, an improved data supply chain, a move to cloud technology, and a further investment in dimensional modeling. \u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eResponsibilities\u003cbr/\u003eDevOps and Data Engineering\u003cbr/\u003e• Assist in building and scaling industry-leading cloud data platform (Snowflake).\u003cbr/\u003e• Facilitate operation of the platform with regards to Automation and Orchestration\u003cbr/\u003e• Provide insights into usage of the Platform using a combination of SQL and Scripting skills. \u003cbr/\u003e• Troubleshoot issues encountered in data ingestion and ensure integrity of the data.\u003cbr/\u003e• Participate in development and orchestration of data pipelines\u003cbr/\u003e• Help administer the BI platform (PowerBI) and troubleshoot issues \u003cbr/\u003e• Assist in the deployment of Data Science tools and techniques within the company.\u003cbr/\u003e• Maintain existing Version Control Systems (GIT) and DevOps Systems (Azure DevOps).\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eNeeded Technical Skills:\u003cbr/\u003e• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or other similar fields of study.\u003cbr/\u003e• SQL Development, System Administration, and Scripting (PowerShell/Python).\u003cbr/\u003e• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure, or AWS.\u003cbr/\u003e• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with analytics, modeling platforms, data manipulation software and/or visualization tools (e.g. Advanced SQL, PL/SQL, R, Python, SAP HANA, Microsoft Suite).\u003cbr/\u003e• Hands-on experience building data models using Data Build Tool (dbt) loading data into cloud data warehouse (preferably Snowflake)\u003cbr/\u003e• Ability to work in agile development environment.\u003cbr/\u003eAdditional Preferred Technical Skills:\u003cbr/\u003e• Good understanding of usage and connectivity to REST APIs.\u003cbr/\u003e• Good understanding of security concepts and its application to Role and Attribute based security when handling sensitive data.\u003cbr/\u003e• Understanding of GIT and processes related to source code maintenance integrated with Azure DevOps.\u003cbr/\u003e• Hands-on Experience building Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.\u003cbr/\u003e• Hands-on Experience building Prefect flows.\u003cbr/\u003e \u003cbr/\u003ePersonal Attributes\u003cbr/\u003e• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.\u003cbr/\u003e• Strong written and oral communication skills. \u003cbr/\u003e• Ability to conduct research into database issues, systems and products as required. \u003cbr/\u003e• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.\u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eCandidates will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment.
