As a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will own the end-to-end test process and develop process improvements for Pure’s cutting edge FlashBlade products across our Contract Manufacturing sites. You’ll collaborate with CMs with debug and test issues, ensuring the test process is working and followed correctly in the factories. You will collaborate with the Quality team on continuous test process and yield improvements, work with the Infrastructure team to ensure test updates are implemented successfully, determine areas for efficiency improvements and provide input to the global team while supporting global test capacity expansion in 2023/2024.
What You Will Be Doing
Total ownership and accountability of end-to-end factory test processes and performance
Monitoring production testing, resolving and preventing issues in test operations
Debugging hardware and software issues in production testing with the global teams
Maintaining SW Tools, test harnesses and documentation in a production environment
Collaborating with development teams to improve test framework integration and deployment
Driving continuous improvement of manufacturing production tests through process and software optimization
Automating new test processes & enhancing existing tests
Collaborating, mentoring & training on-site or remote test engineers as needed
What You Bring the Team:
Demonstrable skill in designing & developing Python, Perl, Bash, and some SQL in a Linux environment
Basic experience with oscilloscopes - PCIE analyzer knowledge is a plus
Enterprise x86 server / storage experience desired, but not mandatory
Ability to successfully thrive in a fast-paced environment
BSEE or Computer Engineering Degree or 10 years equivalent industry experience.
The annual base salary range is: $158,000 - $238,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location.
For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
