We have requirement for talented engineer, who will drive personal and process safety improvement through technology and support Rotating Equipment digitalization technologies.
What’s the role?
As Rotating Equipment Discipline Engineer, you will be supporting Shell Projects and Technology Engineering. It’s a role that comes with an exciting range of responsibilities, from providing Rotating Equipment technical assurance for rotating equipment related technology in the various Shell businesses; to providing support to the field’s digitization technologies.
You can expect to focus on the technical assurance of Rotating Equipment technology to be delivered into future Shell projects and assets. The role also ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations, industry codes, standards, and recommended practices, as well as Shell standards and best practices.
• Improving personal and process safety performance via technology and delivering near
opportunities for technology roll-out
• Supporting digitation and Proactive Technical Monitoring of Rotating Equipment
• Share Mechanical Engineering learnings from technology assessments across the entire
organization. Support of Rotating Equipment digitization technologies
Where you fit in
We see the Rotating Equipment Discipline Engineer, as a key role in the integration of Shell’s Rotating Equipment and Mechanical Engineering Discipline initiatives across the entire organization. The role interfaces with EPC contractors, Project Delivery Teams and multi-discipline teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with technology risk profile.

Requirements:
What we need from you
Naturally, we see you as a good team player and communicator; with a passion for developing your skills and knowledge, as well as others. Alongside your broad understanding of engineering and rotating equipment specifically, we’re keen to hear from men and women with as much of the following on your resume :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and significant years of experience as Mechanical Engineer or equivalent engineering discipline
Skilled and knowledgeable on general rotating equipment (e.g. pumps, compressors, gearboxes, etc.); with mastery level on aero derivative gas turbines including LMS100 gas turbine engines
Experience with machinery design and manufacturing program development and assurance. Knowledge and experience in using Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) per ISO 16290 with assessment of new technology
Knowledge of international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.) related to mechanical machinery equipment
Effectively cooperating to meet project safety, quality, schedule, cost targets and be able to balance multiple project and engineering support activities
