The Technology Solutions Principal devises an effective strategy for executing and delivering on IT business initiatives. The Technology Solutions Principal provides strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s). Highly skilled with broad, advanced technical experience.

Responsibilities

The Technology Solutions Principal, Human Resources Innovation will collaborate with leaders across the organization to develop an enterprise digital technology strategy to engage and serve our associates in delivering a new Intranet ecosystem. The Principal will lead platform and implementation partner selections as well as the entire delivery cycle of the new Intranet platform by partnering effectively with other IT functions such as Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Information Security, Cloud infrastructure and Enterprise API.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate will have extensive (typically 10 years) of experience in software engineering, including several years (typically 5 years) of experience leading a software engineering team.

This person will have a proven track record in setting and executing large-scale strategies for software engineering, and in creating value through the delivery of top-tier SaaS/Platform solutions.

He/she will be a strong leader of people with a record of success in expanding and elevating the capabilities and performance of the team.

Bachelor's degree is required.

Proven success in creating a roadmap, vision, and strategy for an entire portfolio of software solutions

Strategic thinker with the ability to quickly grasp business strategy, ability to storyboard and drive business model innovation by leveraging technology

Change agent with a strong business acumen ('business savvy technologist') with the ability to understand downstream and upstream impacts

Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize diverse sets of projects

Current or recent experience in a large, highly matrixed company (i.e., Fortune 250), with proven ability to influence leaders and key stakeholders in such an environment

Excellent oral and written communications skills at all organizational levels, including the ability to skillfully convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

The polish, poise, and executive presence that will ensure effective interaction with senior and executive level audiences

Highly collaborative mindset and excellent relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage many diverse stakeholders and SMEs and win their co-ownership in the outcome

Experience as a leader of, or key contributor to, large RFP responses

Experience managing external vendor relationships

Ability to foster a culture of innovation and curiosity

Entrepreneurial spirit and high tolerance for ambiguity

Healthcare related experience is a strong plus.
