Complex Managers\u00A0in Training, are coachable, communicate well, and have a deep understanding of the needs of their team. Leaders in this program work in diverse environments and perform various duties in order to further their knowledge about the organization.\u00A0The PSM Manager is responsible for performing the following duties within his/her area of responsibility:Working with all sites to promote Safe Processes, Projects, Products and People through use of OSHA safe work practices.\u00A0\u00A0Maintaining Safety as a condition. Conducting PSM / RMP Compliance Audits, write reports\u00A0and following recommendations for each facility within region at least every three years. Leading and documenting a Process Hazards Analysis, writing reports and following recommendations for each Ammonia refrigeration,\u00A0orchlorine gas injection system within region at least every 5 years. Leading the PSM teams at each site within region to follow up and help resolve all PSM / RMP recommendations and other related issues. Participating at sites within region that are undergoing OSHA PSM, DHSor EPA RMP audits. Participating / Leading all Incident Investigations\u00A0using Root Cause Analysis for\u00A0reported Ammonia,\u00A0or\u00A0Chlorine leaks for all sites within region. Helping sites within region continually improve their PSM / RMP programs. Keeping up on all new refrigeration codes and standards. Working with sites to maintain the APSM compliance implementation schedule. Training PSM coordinators and technicians in\u00A0compliance tools and standard operating procedures. Participating as knowledgeable engineer for Process Hazards Analysesand other audits\u00A0for other sites outside of region. Tracking and up dating all Process Safety Information any time there is a change to the systems. Helping sites with ammonia refrigeration projects\u00A0through the scope development and Management of Change processes\u00A0as required. Frequent travel to sites within the region and periodic travel to sites outside the region. Other related duties as required.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in Ammonia Refrigeration preferred. Use of Auto CAD a plus. English/Spanish bi-lingual\u00A0a plus. Basic knowledge of the operations of Ammonia Refrigeration / Thermodynamic systems. Ability to complete engineering calculations for ammonia\u00A0inventory, relief valve design,\u00A0load and energy balances, ventilation requirements and releases. Experience with six sigma, total predictive maintenance (TPM),Operational Excellence (OE)\u00A0or other continuous improvement methodologies. Experience using APSM or similar PSM compliance software. Ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrument and Block Flow diagrams. PHA Leader training and experience a plus. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals professionally. Ability to present information and to communicate issues to upper management. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Detailed oriented and self motivated. Proven project management and change management skills. Ability to apply and interpret regulatory standards and consensus standards to situations not specifically addressed by the standards. Demonstrated ability to respond to crises in an effective and timely manner.\u00A0EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\u00A0Bachelors/Masters degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.\u00A0EOE/Vets/Disabled
