Software Engineering Director - Loan Systems','200017526','!*!The Wholesale Loan Technology – Software Engineering Director (Loan IQ Program Manager Business Investments – Structured Lending) is a senior position within the JPMorgan Chase Wholesale Loan Technology Core Loans leadership team. This individual will be responsible for optimizing current domain capabilities, developing the roadmap for the strategic evolution of the product & maximizing value for operations & market partners. As a senior leader in Software Engineering, you will combine your years of proven expertise with a never-ending quest to create innovative technology through solid engineering practices. You’ll work in a collaborative, trusting, thought-provoking environment—one that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally.  The candidate will be working within the Wholesale Loan Technology (WLT) at JPMorgan Chase as part of the Core Loans Structured Lending Technology team. They will be working on the Loan IQ program,  the firm’s Global Strategic structured loans platform.  This program consists of a series of critical projects focused on line of business initiatives, including mandatory and regulatory projects.  This role is specifically for a senior position on the management team to oversee one or more of these critical programs.  As a lead on the Core Loan Technology team, you will help provide quality technology solutions to address line of business needs.  This includes, but is not limited to:  Coordinate a large and complex program across multiple work streams potentially including:Business AnalysisInterface Development & Integration of Loan IQ with other platforms, both internal and external to the firmData Warehousing and Reporting New systems developmentManage multiple simultaneous work streams, each consisting of one or more ProjectsOverseeing a significant team of 10-50 (Employees and Consultants)Hire Key team members, potentially in multiple locations including Jersey City, NJ;  New York, NY; ,Newark, DE;  Chicago, IL;  Plano, TX; Mumbai and Bangalore IndiaAct as a liaison between the Wholesale Loan Technology team and the many Technology, Operations, Business, and other partners in this space.Develop an organizational model to supports the primary responsibilities of ongoing business demand, defect remediation and strategic business initiatives. Determine the right allocation of roles & responsibilities, capacity requirements to implement and sustain the strategic program objectives. The Wholesale Loan Technology Application Development Director will partner with the Lending Product Owners to focus on designing the release schedule, testing rigor, tools and protocol…while interacting with various lines of business and technology partners to ensure the process serves the best interest of the end-users, customers and market dependent parties. This includes evaluating and leveraging the latest technology available to address performance, automated testing capabilities, new functionality improvements for anticipated market adjustments and other factors impacting the viability of the ongoing program (replacing Libor in the short term).   Collaborate with Sr stakeholders to balance the pace & intrusiveness of change, mitigating the risks while being progressive in building capabilities that keep JPM in the forefront of its market offering.  Additionally, the product owner will lead their team in the implementation of a customer friendly, transparent and timely delivery model from intake through design process for day-to-day requests from end users.
