Enclara, is a wholly owned hospice and palliative care pharmacy business acquired by Humana in 2021. Enclara is the nation's largest full-service pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) specifically for the hospice and palliative care sectors. Serving over 450 customers and nearly 100,000 patients nationally, Enclara works closely with hospices to reduce pharmacy costs, improve patient care and support caregivers through: digital innovations, flexible medication access, one-on-one clinical support, and excellent customer service.

The Product Owner 2 is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing product backlog. The Product Owner 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Product Owner 2 maximizes value of product created by Agile team. Liaises with stakeholders and the development team ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline. Serves as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Responsibilities

The product owner's responsibilities include:

Work with customer and stakeholders, agile leaders, architects, tech leads and engineering leadership to develop and maintain product vision

Communicate and advocate the product vision

Work with product managers/internal stakeholders/customers to prioritize development requests for the product

Work with architects and engineering leadership to turn vision and customer requests into roadmap and milestones

Clarifies questions on requirements, translate business requirements into technical stories

Maintain a healthy and prioritized product backlog with appropriately sized epics and stories

Work with development teams to address questions / concerns during sprints, be an active member and leader of the sprint team to advocate for customer experience

Lead and communicate the release plan, advocate for the value of the product release

Engage with customers for product adoption and collect feedback

Constantly re-prioritizes the product backlog based on customers feedback and leadership direction

Required Qualifications

Experience with product and interface design

Experience with agile product development

Experience of working in a large program, navigating through complexities and competing priorities from multiple teams.

Basic Knowledge of distributed software architecture, such as microservices

Experience with software development life cycle

Experience with healthcare information technology is a plus

Great communication and leadership skills necessary

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in engineering, computer science, or business related functions

5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree
