Description

Being part of the Cyber Security Process Engineer Team means you will work with the Humana Cyber Security Capability Maturity program to identify and transform processes as part of enterprise security strategy. Work will include partnering with internal stakeholders to transform processes to drive automation and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

Hours are flexible, with core hours being Mon-Fri, 9am-2pm est.

This position will focus on discovery and documentation of existing process, which will involve gathering information, creating and documenting process flow and evaluating processes for improvements, either automated or manual.

Performs, and implements process improvement initiatives

Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.

Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement and identifies indicators for future improvement opportunities.

Collects data to determine root cause of problems.

Measures performance against process requirements.

Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering (ability to look at a process, identify waste and provide recommendations on making it better)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio

Very Strong Analytical Skills

Must have a separate room with a locked door that can be used as a home office to ensure you and your patients have absolute and continuous privacy while you work.

Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and recommended speed for optimal performance from Humana systems is 10M x 1M

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor or other Advanced Degree in Information Technology - strongly preferred

Six Sigma Certification - strongly preferred

Prior enterprise security experience

Proven success in building relationship

Cyber security experience
