Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a

Network Engineer (L3)

to be an integral part of the Email Infrastructure team. Among other responsibilities this team is responsible for the engineering, automation, and scaling of our networks. It is imperative that you are energized by the challenges arising from providing network service to data centers, distributed systems, and cloud deployments. In this role, engineers will design, build, and support network connectivity from servers, carriers and customers. This will require experience in building and operating production networks for scalability, reliability, and security.

6 years experience in data center, cloud or network engineering

Experience supporting production networks

Experience in IP switching, routing and firewalls

In-depth understanding of communication protocols (TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)

Passionate. Persistent. Creative. You find clever ways around problems, or just plow through them. Sharp analytical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and with remote teams

Experience resolving network incidents in a mission critical 24/7 network environment.

Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well.

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:

Salary Range: $90,752.00 - $124,784.00

Rest of Colorado:

Salary Range: $79,408.00 - $109186.00

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
