Description
The Director of Technology Solutions Delivery is responsible for leading the overall CarePlus and Puerto Rico technology delivery functions. Ensures proper methodology, controls and capabilities are in place to enable successful delivery to meet business needs and align with Enterprise goals. Collaborates with business and other internal/external partners to prioritize and execute activities. Attracts, retains, and develops delivery talent. Engages directly and takes responsibility for delivery of large, complex programs.
Responsibilities
Detailed responsibilities include:
Take delivery ownership of active CarePlus transformation program including: program execution, Program Management Office, MVP achievement, schedule and budget activities.
Ensure program visibility across business stakeholder, internal and external partners, and executive teams.
Partner with the business to successfully implement program including planning, change management activities and post-implementation support.
Supports technology and business team team's adoption and adherence to Agile principles.
Develop and execute talent plan incorporates SaaS partners, makes effective use of resources, and enables the business to meet their goals.
Works with vendor management partners to provide performance feedback and address opportunities as needed.
Establish a post-implementation delivery model that transitions from program transformation to enable business future evolution capabilities.
As a member of the Program technical team, participate in reviews of other technical deliverables.
Implements a scalable delivery model that not only achieves current program delivery but also enables long-term continuous improvement for CarePlus and takes best practices towards future Puerto Rico transformation efforts.
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
5 or more years of management experience
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies
Experience in IT business analysis, including artifacts development
Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
Facilitating cross-functional teams' efforts
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
20 years' experience leading delivery functions and teams.
Experience leading transformation programs of at least $50M, annual portfolios of $25M and teams of 200 people.
Direct leadership of teams greater 30 with at least 20 employees.
Advanced competence, experience, and certifications with Agile and Scrum delivery methodology.
Professional demeanor - represents the project to stakeholders in a friendly, unbiased, and professional manner
Ability to identify and communicate technical issues, both verbally and written, to technical and non-technical people.
Ability to develop recommendations and facilitate resolution of technology issues with project, business stakeholders and internal or external partners.
Engaged leader in diversity and inclusion activities.
