PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:
Key contributor to the development of early-stage manufacturing processes to generate cells modified with Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CARs) and T Cell Receptors (TCRs). This role will support the design and execution of development experiments enabling a deep understanding of the process and possible impacts on drug product attributes through collaboration with analytical teams in a cross-functional setting.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education:
BS in Engineering and/or Biology or other related discipline
Experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Independently design and execute experiments using sound scientific principles to support cell therapy process development.
Perform simple statistical data analysis and work with statisticians where applicable
Presentation of experimental findings/ results following study completion
Aid in design and creation of phase-appropriate process development study plans, identifying process parameters and appropriate ranges to be assessed for optimal experimental design of the study
Influence and assist in the management of efficient Design of Experiments (DOE) in order to generate Design Space for targeted unit operations
Timely and thorough documentation and completion of electronic laboratory notebooks
Author reports detailing experimental work and summarizing results
Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with policies/procedures/regulations
WORKING CONDITIONS (US Only):
Work to be performed in a both a standard open office setting as well as BSL-2 laboratory settings with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which will require occasional need to lift/carry a maximum weight of 10lbs.
