Our Cloud Video Platform (CVP), provided as a service, offers our customers a diverse product catalogue. By leveraging Comcast CVP, our customers can securely manage their digital media, publish their content to viewable on all manner of IP devices, and effectively monetize their content distribution directly to the consumer. Our proven media management and publishing technology provides a versatile approach to meet each customer's unique business requirements. CTS has an excellent opportunity for an Application Support Engineer to join our Global Operations team. Core Responsibilities
Use product knowledge to address individual tickets through troubleshooting, escalation, and customer service.
Analyses problems in design, configuration, data flow and data state within a highly complex multi-product provisioning system.
Develop utility and monitoring scripts and applications primarily using JavaScript, Python and AWS services.
Collects and organizes technical data related to assigned projects. Presents data and findings for review at the next level of engineering management.
Reads and analyzes technical references and sources to obtain knowledge of assigned Engineering Operations topics. Identifies common operational and technical problems with standard solutions. Escalates more complex issues to senior Operations Engineers.
Identifies potential instrumentation, automation and standardization required for successful implementation of projects or continued stabilization of deployed products.
Respond quickly to critical customer issues.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair all but the most complex issues.
Performs maintenance activities with a minimum of supervision and guidance.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Qualifications
Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Broad technical knowledge, specifically related to web services
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, creativity and resourcefulness.
Strong communication skills.
Understanding of web services (HTTP, Web API, Web protocols)
Basic Python coding ability
Familiarity with Linux.
Experience building a website a plus (can be course-related project)
A dedication to customer satisfaction.
Must be willing to be a part of a 24X7 on call rotation.

Salary:
Pay Range: $59,408.65 - $89,112.97
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
