Description
The Senior Automation Engineer identifies and implements solutions (hardware and software) for improvement of the high-quality automation infrastructure. The Senior Automation Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Automation Engineer designs, programs, simulates, and tests automated processes, and is responsible for detailed design specifications and other documents. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
The Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for identifying and implementing solutions (hardware and software) to increase Test Automation in DevOps and improve of the high-quality automation for infrastructure validation.
This specific position will be heavily focused on Metrics, continuous automated testing in CI/CD, Azure environments, and solid hands-on in enterprise level Automation tools like but not limited to TOSCA, Perfecto Mobile and Cyara (IVR Testing), API automation. The communication with tool vendors and administration of Test Automation Enterprise tools is also a direct responsibility of this role.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
8 or more years of technical experience, especially on Test Automation tools and framework
5 years working as Test Automation Architect (or similar), including proven experience of designing and implementing Automation Testing frameworks and methodology to support Automation First approach in CI/CD
3 years working as cloud platform and providing Automation solution for applications hosted on cloud
Outstanding communication skills
Strong experience in Azure DevOps and in multi-cloud platforms
Good knowledge of automated testing industry best practices and trends
Experience with modern test automation and test management tools
Experience and good knowledge on ML/AI in Test Automation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a matrix and fast-paced environment
Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing several test automation solutions but not limited to Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, SoapUI, Postman, Protractor, TOSCA, Auto IT.
Agile Software Development Lifecycle Processes and Methodologies
Knowledge of containers and virtualization
Knowledge of automated build management tools
Advanced experience reading/writing: C#, JavaScript, Java, Groovy, Python, Ruby
Hands-on experience specifying, establishing and managing test environments and test data for load and functional automation projects
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Health Care experience
Experience working with multi-vendor resources across different geographies
