In this role the candidate will define, develop and implement lean improvement projects in line with business strategic expectations
Drive the Aero Alliance cultural brand across the business to achieve EHS, Quality & business objectives
Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and non-value-added activities
Use best practice lean tools such as, but not limited to, Kanbans, JIT, VSM, 5S, FMEA, Kitset delivery and vendor managed inventory, to help drive efficiency and cost saving to operations.
Identify areas and processes, that lend themselves to Automation and the removal of manual effort
Work with all functions of the business to help drive business performance.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Ability to identify, implement & drive TAT reduction strategic initiatives
Hold project management expertise required to drive lean projects through to completion
Identify, coach & mentor lean methodology to drive improvement objectives
Have excellent people leadership & communication skills at all levels
Identify & implement KPI’s to track project progress
Lead Lean activities and workshops including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Blitz, Obeya, 5S
Facilitate 5S system and drive for excellent result
Drive critical path decisions, make recommendations and influence program leaders and functional process owners to maximize project impact, drive simplification and standardization efforts for all project initiatives.
Facilitate or support continuous improvement activities (SPL, Kaizen, A3 ) in factory
Apply Change Management principles to deliver project goals, build system and process competency, and integrate multiple changes at one time.
Streamline redundant business processes through application of lean six sigma principles.
Provide training and governance to the business Key and End Users.
Minimize customizations and offline processes and maximize use of industry standard processes and standard functionalities when designing and digitizing the next generation.
Identify and solution processes to provide real-time job costing visibility, and process simplification supported by a business case for change, a planned V actual post implementation review/KPI and benefits analysis.
Adopt project management, planning, and operating rhythm deliverables including frequent communication and presentations to functional and IT leadership, project leadership, and business stakeholders.
Be aware of EHS rules and warn others to follow the rules, when driving any physical changes to operations
As an expert in the use of the Lean tools / methods with a comprehensive knowledge descriptive statistics, lead and manage the completion of continuous improvement projects within a given timeframe to meet or facility goals in productivity, quality, efficiency, and safety
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, industrial or related technical discipline from an accredited college or University
3 years in a Lean Role in Operations or New Manufacturing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, vendors, and subject matter experts

Knowledge of Oracle, SAP or other ERP applications with additional hands-on experience
Ability to use Lean / Six Sigma tools and techniques to drive change
