The successful candidate will have a proven track record supporting high value business systems programs with clear KPIs and measurable value. This role is for you if you possess a blend of engagement skills, business understanding, strategic thinking, and a passion for amazing sales and support systems.Responsibilities:The Business Systems Analyst will play a key role within the Sales and Service Technology team at Splunk, working closely with leadership and internal customers as we supercharge our go-to-market capabilities. Working cross functionally with a broad set of business partners, you will use keen business process understanding, appreciation for simplicity and quality, critical thinking, and a bit of elbow grease to create holistic solutions that meet business and technology objectives while cultivating Splunk\u2019s long range goals.You will be part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team responsible for accelerating and simplifying the sales experience across channels, functions, and platforms. You will be challenged with identifyingInnovative ideas and proof of concept to deliver against the existing and future needs of our customers.Requirements:7 years of experience implementing and supporting large scale, technically complex solutions on Salesforce, Force.com, Lightning, and associated ecosystemFacilitate maintenance and enhancement of the Salesforce.com platform for the sales and support teamsDrive system enhancement efforts to completion by capturing and assessing user requirements with business partnersOwn the roadmap for system enhancements. This includes managing deployment release schedules, JIRA backlog, prioritization, and sprint planning using Agile methodologies.Devise and propose long-term, best practice based solutions to business problems using theSalesforce.com platform.Create and deliver appropriate documentation, training and communication around feature(s) and process changesCoordinate development tasks with onsite and offshore Developers, as well as hand-off and coordination with QA Perform configuration and declarative administration tasks on the Salesforce.com platformPresent business challenges, solutions, training sessions, etc. to large groups of stakeholders.Act as a Thought Leader for all business stakeholders \u2013 be the expert on using the Salesforce.com platform to address and accelerate the business. Own the vision for long term platform success.Strong communication skills required. Diligently keep all stakeholders up to day, solicit buy-in from all groups, and manage expectations.Ability to explain complex systems and technical topics in a clear, concise manner to others who may have minimal technical knowledge using oral, written and visual presentations.BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience is recommendedSFDC certification a requirementU.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residence status may be required for some projects in which case, verification of such status will be required upon accepting employmentFunctional Skills:Deep understanding of B2B sales, marketing, and support processes.Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to set up and interpret logic, data tables, and rule relationshipsHave the desire to learn and apply new technologiesAbility to self-train quickly and pick up new skills as necessaryUnderstanding of cloud offerings market space conceptsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to lead multiple simultaneous tasks, providing consistent record of all activities, while handling confidential work with discretion(Colorado only*) Minimum base salary of $90,000.00.
