Description

The Cloud Services Engineer 2 enables cloud to provide optimal performance, continuity and efficiency in virtualized, on-demand environments. The Cloud Services Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. Responsibility includes automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration on multi-cloud environments i.e. GCP and Azure. Also responsible for build and deploy multi-cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

The Cloud Services Engineer 2 utilizes software that manages and monitors networks, systems and applications not only to guarantee performance to cloud software environments but also to better orchestrate and automate provisioning of resources. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Being part of platform engineering team, you will build and support cloud infrastructure operations, support CI/CD pipelines, writing Terraform scripts to provision infrastructure as code, and provide operational support for all GCP and Azure infrastructure. You will also help maintain critical pieces of application infrastructure including compute resources and GKE clusters through monitoring and day to day operational support.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Less than 5 years of technical experience

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
