DUTIES

:                    Analyze business capabilities and future needs to ensure that employer systems will effectively meet business needs; design and build highly distributed, concurrent and performant systems; drive long-range application and technology planning efforts, identifying dependencies and leading resolution of issues across enterprise architecture disciplines; design solutions for Cloud technologies; lead creation of standards; develop and maintain global technology roadmaps and application and platform evolution plans; drive modern data integration and replication patterns; drive cloud infrastructure solutions and distributed horizontally scaled applications; and define architecture, environment, and supporting tools to meet business objectives. Tools and technologies used: Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, ReactJS, Confluence, JIRA, Cassandra NoSQL database, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Graph database, Google Cloud platform, and HashiCorp Consul.

REQUIREMENTS

:  This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field and at least ten (10) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in enterprise architecture/development (any title) including at least three (3) years of experience performing cloud native design and using Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, ReactJS, Confluence, JIRA, Docker, Cassandra NoSQL database, Google Cloud platform, and HashiCorp Consul.
