About the role:
The Program Manager role at Xperi is a skilled collaborator and mediator who is comfortable working within a business unit to align activities with corporate goals. The Program Manager will chair cross-functional multidisciplinary projects and programs that may include software engineering and organizational change activities. This role engages with leaders across the organization to ensure programs are successful from R&D through to customer delivery. The Program Manager brings program and project management knowledge to the organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Tracks cross-functional projects and mediates cross-team team communication
Monitors and analyzes data on a project portfolio level
Facilitates the communication between technical and business teams and drives resolution of cross-functional prioritization conflicts
Aggregates and summarizes programs and portfolio for stakeholders
Leads change management, develops and implements communicates plans, and manages risks and mitigation strategies
Monitoring compliance with project management standards, policies, procedures, and templates
Provides Agile technical project management
Education and/or Experience
BS or BA in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree or equivalent work knowledge
Scrum Master certified; Scrum Trainer preferred
PMI Candidate; PMI certified preferred
8 years of relevant experience; 3 years of Agile Project Management experience, Kanban, Scrum, or Lean preferred
Track record of working with cross-functional teams
Experience in implementing project tracking workflows in Jira and Confluence
Demonstrates the ability to plan, execute, track, and report on technical projects and/or programs involving multiple teams
Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
In-depth knowledge of at least two project planning tools; Microsoft Project and SmartSheet preferred
In-depth knowledge of issue tracking tools; JIRA is a must

The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is $101,469 - $124,300 plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
