ENSCO Inc. is seeking an engineer with a strong technical background to join the Position Navigation and Timing (PNT) Enterprise Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Space Segment team. The SE&I Space Team provides engineering, technical analysis and subject matter expertise (SME) for the Global Positioning System (GPS) supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC). Through a wide scope of systems engineering activities, the SE&I Space Segment team is responsible for space segment integration within the larger PNT enterprise, space vehicle technical advisement, analysis of space vehicle design, space segment risk assessment, acquisition, spacecraft design, payload integration, and oversight of production operations. As a member of our PNT SE&I team, you’ll work in a high-paced environment with Space Force personnel and system developers to ensure GPS remains the gold standard for position, navigation and timing. Major duties of the position include: Provides satellite/space vehicle technical expertise and systems integration support to ensure an optimal integrated space systemFacilitates requirements development across the GPS Enterprise and stakeholdersDevelop and review technical requirements pertaining to GPS Space Segment, including submittals of contractor documentation, interface control and system level documentation for Space Segment related activitiesProviding technical support for the GPS III and GPS IIIF programs, including interfacing with the SSC and prime contractors, support for acquisition activities/milestones, technical evaluations, design reviews for software and hardware, and contractor/government testingSupports space vehicles manufacturing activitiesProvide subject matter expertise for anomaly resolutions during Launch & Early Orbit (LEO), Failure Review Boards (FRBs), Incremental Design Reviews (IDRs), and Critical Design Reviews (CDRs)Providing technical support for space vehicle and payload design Supports Space Segment Risk & Opportunities managementSupports GPS Space Segment requirements tracing for the Enterprise Technical BaselineBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, or Science and minimum of 3 years of related experienceDemonstrated experience reviewing and delivering technical documents and briefingsStrong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teamsExcellent analytical and organizational skills, specifically attention to detailAN ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITON, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A US CITIZEN.Active Top Secret Clearance Space vehicle as well as other GPS related experience is highly desiredExperience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition organizations Experience working specifically on a Systems Engineering and Integration contractExperience analyzing and resolving proposed technical changes to technical baseline (i.e., interface documents, specifications documents, architecture products) using sound systems engineering disciplineExperience and familiarity with satellite subsystems and payloadsExperience and familiarity with reviewing and editing Government technical documentsExperience with developing or evaluating softwareUnderstanding of System Engineering practices, techniques, and procedures#LI-AH1ENSCO has been delivering engineering, science, and advance technology solutions to complex priority programs since 1969.
