Description

The Senior Software Quality Testing Engineer thoroughly evaluates the software products according to the business standards or function requirements. The Senior Software Quality Testing Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This position will also be responsible to create Automated Test Scripts using a third-party tool called Ranorex. The team also used Azure DevOps (ADO) to create manual test plans and test cases.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Quality Testing Engineer isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects, and verifies fixes. Develops test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Very familiar with the software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. Begins to influence the department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5 or more years of technical experience

Develops test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Automation Experience

Understanding and implementation of automated tests

Understanding and implementation of converting manual Test case/Plan

Ability to use off the shelf automation tool

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Ranorex experience or similar tool

Azure DevOps (ADO)

Additional Information
