Job Summary
This role is apart of a Broadcast Engineering team within Comcast Technology Solutions, with a primary focus on our Managed Linear Channel Origination and Channel Delivery products. Responsible for researching, designing, planning, developing and/or evaluating new, advanced technologies by translating customer requirements or strategic business objectives into final product design. Works with engineering, marketing, customer service and engineering support to develop detailed design, project plans and product launch.

Core Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership for the Broadcast Engineering team with a strong focused on our file-based content supply chain running in AWS, with orchestration provided by SDVI (one of our SaaS vendors). This role had ownership over our content supply chain efforts for workflow modifications and onboarding of new clients.
Provide technical leadership helping to assess future technology evolutions and potential system transitions to the cloud - helping to pioneer our future operational models with a hands on ownership (including AWS, workflow design, and Python scripting).
Works with other members of cross-functional teams, joint ventures, third party vendors and Company's Product Managers and Marketing teams to deliver quality products, in a timely fashion, that meet defined requirements.
Participates in the Company product lifecycle process, contributes to and/or creates product and technical requirements, detailed design documents including functional drawings, process documents,system definitions and operational procedures as part of this process.
Ensures that projects are worked on in a timely and efficient manner and properly transitioned to our Support Engineering and Operations teams.
Provides guidance and accepts accountability for the performance and reliability of various cross-platform applications and services and ensures that system failures are restored in a timely manner.
Recommends courses of action, technology, technical solutions, long term vision and vision of what needs to happen to grow the Company.
Provides cross-training and mentorship to members of the engineering and operations teams.
Uses skills in software development, system design, and cloud architecture to develop cloud-based and on-premises state-of-the art media processing and delivery solutions to maximize on technology and business applications.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Salary:
Pay Range: $118,450.82 - $177,676.24
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
