The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer Supports development and execution of cloud native solutions within organization's existing IT infrastructure. The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer Implements business solutions from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture. May work with stakeholders across organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions. Collaborates with product managers, product owners, cloud architects and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud based products/services, applications and solutions .Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Should be able to demonstrate fluency in at least one major cloud platform preferably GCP or Azure. This role will involve pioneering work in Data lake hydration and Healthcare Interoperability Solutions utilizing multi cloud strategy and using third party cloud agnostic products such as Kafka, StreamSets and Mongo DB.

Required Skills:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent or 8 years experience with related technologies

3-5 years of experience with Cloud technologies such as GCP, Azure or AWS

Scripting skills with Python, Node or .NET

Working knowledge with Containers such as Kubernetes , Azure, Dockers etc

Experience with CI/CD

Preferred Skills:

Developer or Architect Certification in major cloud platform.

MS in Computer Science or related field

Demonstrated experience/understanding in Healthcare industry
