ENSCO Inc. is seeking a systems engineer to join our diverse GPS Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) team. The GPS SE&I Team provides engineering, analysis, operations support, and subject matter expertise to the Global Positioning System and other Position, Navigation and Timing customers. Our team also provides systems engineering and analysis services toward current and future system design, development, architecting, acquisition, testing, operations, and sustainment support. Team members also provide an enterprise perspective for identification and review of risks to GPS systems and capabilities and development of risk mitigation plans to address them. Major duties of the position include:Develop strategic plans and concepts for future GPS and Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) technologies and programs in support of GPS leadership and Align GPS strategic plans with DoD and AF enterprise vision, warfighter constructs and plans for PNT and GPSIdentify PNT and GPS capability gaps and develop architectural concepts and plans for delivering capabilities to operations/warfightersCapture engineering, architecture, requirements and design concepts in support of PNT science & technology needs, experiments, prototypes and programs of recordsDevelop strategic positions for GPS Director to communicate to higher headquarters the GP planned implementation of USSTRATCOM Warfighting Construct, AF Position, Navigation & Timing Strategic Plan, and AFSPC Space Enterprise VisionConduct analysis of warfighting constructs, emerging requirements, and enabling technologies to recommend most viable strategic and technology vectors for increased GP resiliency, survivability, autonomy and cybersecurity Document capabilities, requirements, architectures, concepts, designs and technologies in relation to current GP architectures and developmentsCollaborating with prime contractors, other support contractors, government civilians, and members of the U.S. Air ForceBachelor's Degree in related field and a minimum 5 years’ experience in Space Systems Demonstrated experience working with Air Force/DoD customers in an acquisition environmentExtremely motivated individual who is a self-starter and works well in a team environment.Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teamsAN ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZENM.S. in related fieldCurrent active Top Secret Clearance Experience with Space Systems (especially at Space and Missile Systems Center) and space and ground systems acquisitionExperience with GPS or PNT systemsExperience planning, executing and delivering space-related experiments and prototypes for space, ground or user equipment systemsExperience with streamlined/rapid systems engineering and engineering risk management in a time-constrained environmentExperience with DOORS, Cameo, or Sparx EA#LI-AH1ENSCO has been delivering engineering, science, and advance technology solutions to complex priority programs since 1969.
