Intelligence Systems Engineer

Work you’ll do

Experience providing information systems engineering expertise dealing with intelligence systems supporting Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) intelligence missions including:

Researching, recommending, and implementing solutions to integrate and share data across intelligence programs and air platforms, especially UAS, P-3, and DHC-8

Assisting in defining, developing and implementing user requirements and procedures for processing and utilizing UAS and other intelligence data, prepare user needs analysis, and develop concepts of operations

Providing technical expertise in designing, developing and implementing data distribution systems to support the Government Intelligence mission for users both at UAS operating centers and at remote locations

Supporting the operation and maintenance of satellite communications equipment for receipt of airborne sensor data

Experience providing local support for the certification and accreditation of multiple IT systems

Experience participating in research and development of new intelligence systems, both hardware and software, to meet changing mission requirements

Experience supporting the research and development of new sensor systems and integration of these sensors to support the intelligence mission. This includes developing user needs analysis and writing requirements specifications for new sensor requirements

Experience supporting interagency test and evaluation (T&E)

Ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance

Systems Engineering

Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.

Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Systems Engineering

8 years of relevant experience supporting engineering for airborne intelligence systems and sensors

Preferred Qualifications

Experience providing logistics support for the General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper

Knowledge of DoD or DHS systems and sensors
