Description: This position reports to the F-35 Supplier Quality Engineering leader and will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and one of major contracted suppliers on the F-35 Program regarding quality issues within their scope of work.
This individual will be responsible for ensuring the supplier is delivering a product that meets all contractual and technical requirements.
They will also be responsible for driving rapid containment and effective root cause and corrective action on quality defects escaped to the F-35 production assembly operations.
Will utilize statistical methods to evaluate and initiate actions that identify and control sources of variation detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets.
Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.
A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Root Cause Analysis experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative, qualitative analytical capabilities to communicate and influence others in a concise, data driven manner.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Desired Skills:
• Previous supplier quality experience.
• Proven success executing supplier quality standard work.
• Experience interacting with government customer.
• Major assembly or Teammate F-35 experience.
Green Belt or Black Belt, CQE or CMQ/OE certification.
• Demonstrated quality science expertise in one or more of the following areas: statistical analysis, statistical process control, sampling, six sigma, FAI, PPAP, PFMAE process auditing or validation, root cause analysis and corrective action validations, and supplier quality management.
• High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations.
