The Business Intelligence Engineer 1 administers the installation of assigned provider accounts. Performs set-up, database loading, and preparation of administrative documents and materials. The Provider Installation Professional 1 performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment.

This system takes you through the space of loading contracts and PIMS information that set up our providers in our directory for selection for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial. You will learn about Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial and will expand your knowledge for future positions.
The Business Intelligence Engineer 1 describes the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities, and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.
Revise Facility or Physician arrangements and interpretations; followed by loading them into CAS and MTV via Apex.
Develop and implement best practices to ensure accurate loading of facility or physician contracts
Communicate with all system users and market office staff regarding, but not limited to: inquiries, change in contracts and system status reports.
Research, identify and correct contract loading errors to decrease claims payment issues

Required Qualifications - What it takes to Succeed
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 1 year technical experience in data analysis
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Strong decision making skills
The associate hired would need to live within a 1 1/2 hour driving distance of the office (Waterside or DePere) to attend any in person meetings as needed or requested by the manager.
To maximize the investment in our talent and support associates success in achieving competency levels which enable associates to understand scope of process and make connections with other areas of the enterprise, the Provider Contract Team has a time-in-job commitment of 18 months.
The hours for training are Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm est. After training, you can select an 8 hr shift that starts between 6am-9am est. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: No time off is permitted in July with possibility of mandatory overtime after training.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in SQL, SAS or other data systems
Access experience
In-depth experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, graphs, etc.
Expertise in assessing complex data sets and performing root cause analysis
Experience with data mining and predictive modeling techniques
Ability to use data to drive business outcomes and decisions
Must have a separate room with a locked door that can be used as a home office to ensure you have absolute and continuous privacy while you work.
Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and recommended speed for optimal performance from Humana systems is 10M x 1M
