A Wiring Systems Engineer opportunity is available on Bell’s AH-1Z and UH-1Y Upgrades Program.  These positions are

located at Bell Helicopter’s headquarters facility in Ft. Worth, TX or the Bell

Flight Research Center in Arlington, TX.

The Wiring Systems Engineer is responsible for:

Developing

system requirements, architecture, and interfaces for the aircraft wiring

systems to integrate aircraft systems and manage databus and power

requirements

Develop aircraft wiring architecture, diagrams and

schematics using Mentor Graphics Capital Harness Systems (CHS) toolset and

release wiring drawings

in coordination with aircraft systems engineers and wire routing and

installation design engineers

Evaluate

wiring systems architecture in model-based design environment and

architecture tools

Support

wiring supplier management, aircraft build installation, aircraft testing

and operations, and aircraft/system qualification and certification.

Education Requirements:

 

Bachelor of Science

Degree in Electrical Engineering - or closely related field - is required.

 

Position Requirements:

 

Minimum of 5 years of experience is required. Familiarity with

military certification and industry standards, and multiple data protocols

requiredExperience with creation

of system specifications, requirements traceability, and verification.    Preferred experience with Enovia, DOORS, and

Serena DimensionsCreation of system

architecture and wiring schematics. Preferred experience with schematic creation

using CHS Mentor GraphicsExperience with system

development and testing in a systems integration labExperience with aircraft

installation, functional testing, and troubleshootingCandidates must be

eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
