Description

The Release Engineer 1 works collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate systems. The Release Engineer 1 work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

The Release Engineer 1 helps automate and streamline operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test and production environments. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities, and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge and practice

Ability to develop and execute comprehensive release plans

Ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion

Effective leadership and analytical skills

Advanced written and verbal communication

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management certification

Prior experience in the health solutions industry
