Job Summary:

The Pipeline Integrity Field Engineer is responsible for providing customers with safe, accurate and on-time product and service delivery of pipeline integrity related technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Extensive global travel to customer jobsites, with a focus on Western Hemisphere. Carry out field surveys prior to installation of pipeline monitoring equipment to determine type and quantity of resources required. Coordinate with Engineering team for project design and project elaboration, as required. Report generation for field work undertaken and customer recommendations.

Customer system technical troubleshooting both in person and remotely. Installation and commissioning of pipeline monitoring equipment including set up, testing and verification of correct function of system parameters. Engage with customer contacts to promote company products and services. Participate in job risk analysis, HSE meetings and continuous improvement programs.

Ensure safe, timely and compliant operations at the job site. Mentor others as required. Act as back-up for first level management, when requested. Complete formal training sessions on Quality, Health, Safety and Environment and technical subjects as described by the training matrices. Support implementation and testing of new technologies.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

BS in engineering field preferred with 5 years' experience with fiber optic monitoring system installation, troubleshooting and customer support.

Familiar with Microsoft Office 365.

Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
